Data Deletion

You're in full control of the data Reeldrift stores about you. Here are the exact steps to remove it — and what happens on our side when you do.

1. Quick summary

  • Disconnect TikTok only — keeps your Reeldrift account, deletes TikTok tokens and per-account data. Takes effect immediately.
  • Delete your entire Reeldrift account — removes all TikTok data, brand settings, schedules, posts, analytics, and payment records within 30 days.
  • Revoke access directly on TikTok — if you can’t log in to Reeldrift, you can still cut us off from TikTok itself.

2. Disconnect a TikTok account

  1. Sign in to Reeldrift.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Click Disconnect next to the TikTok account you want to remove.
  4. Confirm in the dialog.

What happens on our side, immediately:

  • TikTok access and refresh tokens are revoked and deleted.
  • All scheduled posts for that account are cancelled.
  • Posts, slides, analytics samples, and media attached to that account are deleted within 30 days. Aggregate analytics rows may be retained in pseudonymized form for billing reconciliation.

3. Delete your entire Reeldrift account

Option A — Inside the app

  1. Sign in to Reeldrift.
  2. Go to Settings → Danger zone.
  3. Click Delete my account and confirm.

Option B — Email request

Send a short email to privacy@reeldrift.pro from the address associated with your account. Include the text:

“I request deletion of my Reeldrift account and all associated personal data under Article 17 GDPR.”

We confirm receipt within 72 hours and complete deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR Article 17.

4. What gets deleted

  • Your profile: email, name, timezone, language, preferences.
  • All TikTok accounts connected to your workspace, including tokens.
  • Brand settings, custom prompts, hashtags, product info.
  • Schedule slots, drafts, published posts, slides, uploaded media.
  • Post metrics and analytics records.
  • Support tickets you opened.

5. What we must keep

Some records can’t be deleted immediately because we are legally required to retain them:

  • Billing and invoices — up to 6 years from the last transaction, as required by tax law.
  • Fraud / abuse records — if you were suspended for policy violations, we may retain minimal records (email hash, account ID, reason) to prevent re-registration.
  • Backups — deleted data can persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being purged.

6. Revoke access directly on TikTok

If you can’t sign in to Reeldrift for any reason, you can still remove our access from the TikTok side:

  1. Open the TikTok mobile app.
  2. Go to Profile → ☰ → Settings and privacy → Security and permissions.
  3. Tap Manage app permissions (or Apps and websites).
  4. Find Reeldrift and tap Remove access.

After revoking access, email us at privacy@reeldrift.pro so we can flag your record for cleanup even without an active session.
